Remarks:
Alma has a small army of loyalist fans who see her as the blameless victim of Ennis and Jack’s tragedy. Others argue that she was hardly innocent, citing her manipulative behavior, both here and at the Laundry Apartment.

Innocent or otherwise, like her first husband Alma was perfectly capable of throwing a sucker punch: “I’d have ’em if you’d support ’em” and “Jack Twist? Jack Nasty!”
