Basque Bridge aficionados might enjoy the 7.5 km / 4.6 mi. (each way) Galatea Creek Trail which begins at the bridge, then crosses and re-crosses the scenic creek, reaching wooded Lillian Lake and, eventually, the alpine Galatea Lakes, gaining some 442 m (1,450') along the way.
