Dorothy is a tiny hamlet with inspiring, decaying, western prairie buildings of every description. Located in Alberta’s exotic Badlands region, it is surrounded by scenery quite unlike anything you will see while visiting any of the other Brokeback sites. While Dorothy itself was not featured in Brokeback Mountain, it is nevertheless well worth visiting. It is just a short distance from the site of Ennis’s flashback and the “Entering Wyoming” and Texas Highways.
